In his Tractate "THE EPISTLE ON THE PHILOSOPHIC FIRE", the GREAT John Pontanus cryptically described the Philosopher's Stone
"The Philosophers' Stone is unique, and one, but hidden and veiled in a multiplicity of different names, and before knowing it you will have seen much struggle: only with difficulty will you come to know it by your own genius. It is watery, airy, fiery and earthy, phlegmatic, choleric, sanguine and melancholy. It is a sulphur and equally Quick Silver."
Note the operative phrase "by your own genius."
This means the Philosopher's Stone is not made. It's "given" to you by those who possess it. For a genius relies on his soul and his soul if attuned, it is connected to the immortals and they in part will share the secret to you.
"It is watery, airy, fiery and earthy"
Let's look at the diagram of the phases of matter.
For our purposes, solid is earth, liquid is water, gas is air, and plasma is fire.
To be able to be ascribed all the properties, we should get the middle aspect.
So on the range of the phases, the middle is between liquid and gas. And to get the exact midpoint, it is hot liquid.
Thus the Philosopher's Stone is a liquid which "harms the hands" (by virtue of being hot)
"it is phlegmatic, choleric, sanguine and melancholy"
This 4 temperaments represent 4 colors. phlegmatic = white. choleric = yellow. sanguine = red. melancholy = black.
And we will resort to numerology to get the composite of the attributes.
So this is basically the numerical rule with the appropriate colors for the 9 ball billiards code.
1 = Yellow, 2 = Blue, 3 = Red, 4 = Violet, 5 = Orange, 6 = Green, 7 = Brown, 8 = Black, 9 = Indigo, 10 = White
so white + yellow + red + black.
10 + 1 + 3 + 8.
10 is the binary representation of 2.
so 2 + 1 + 3 + 8
The numbers can be arranged such that 1 number is the sum of 3 numbers.
1 + 2 + 8 = 11
and 11 is the binary representation of 3
1 + 2 + 8 = 3
3 is red = Rubedo and is the final phase of the Great Work. If the Philosopher's Stone is the end product, it just means that it is a composite of 3 components.
Thus, the Philosopher's Stone is the result of combining 3 components.
"It is a sulphur and equally Quick Silver."
The Philosopher's Stone, by esoteric computations, will prove that it is 16 Sulfur and 80 Mercury.

The Words of the GREAT John Pontanus
"I, John Pontanus, who have travelled into various realms and domains on my quest to know of a certainty what is the Philosophers' Stone, journeying through all parts of the world, found but false Philosophers and deceivers. Studying still, none the less, in the books of the Wise, and my doubts increasing, I discovered the truth: and yet, notwithstanding I had knowledge of the material, I erred two hundred times before finding the operation and practice of that true material."
He has travelled "REALMS" and "DOMAINS" as he said, to know the timeless properties of the Stone from the past and the future. Only an immortal can do that.
